The Prayer of Agur (Part 1)
Pastor Andy Hannich closes our study in Proverbs with thoughts from "The Prayer of Agur".
“Two things I ask of you, Lord;
do not refuse me before I die:
Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread.
Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you
and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’
Or I may become poor and steal,
and so dishonor the name of my God.”
Proverbs 30:7-9 NIV
The Prayer of Agur (Part 2)
Pastor Andy Hannich reflects on living a balanced life as outlined in Proverbs 30:7-9
“Two things I ask of you, Lord;
do not refuse me before I die:
Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread.
Otherwise, I may have too much and
disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’
Or I may become poor and steal,
and so dishonor the name of my God."
Crazy Happy
Pastor Andy Hannich begins a new series exploring true happiness found in Jesus Christ. A study of the Beatitudes expressed in the Sermon on the Mount and the apostle Paul's teaching on the fruits of the Spirit. “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”
John 15:11 NIV
Happiness On the Other Side of Humility
Pastor Andy Hannich's message from the "Sermon on the Mount" exploring what it means to be poor in sprit.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.”
Matthew 5:3-5 NIV
